The S.3 builds upon the excellence of our original premium S Series spotting scope glass and performance, and takes it to the next level in both size and form factor. The S.3, featuring a more compact design and a detachable eyepiece, offers an excellent balance between portability and performance. Positioned between our full-sized S.1 and the popular ultra-compact S.2, the S.3 20-40x67mm provides a high-powered solution across a wide range of magnification levels with a smaller objective lens.
Choose between the variable magnification zoom eyepiece for field use or a fixed reticle eyepiece to aid in target and competitive shooting scenarios. This offers an excellent balance between portability and performance, allowing for more freedom of mobility.
For hunters, target and competitive shooters, birders, and wildlife observers who demand elite-level performance and the flexibility of switching to alternative eyepieces in the future, the S.3 series is our top recommendation.
Just like the rest of the S Series lineup, the S.3 incorporates fluorite glass, recognized as the premium choice for larger objective lenses. This exceptional glass ensures razor-sharp clarity from edge to edge, exceptional performance in low light conditions, and the delivery of vivid, distortion-free, and brilliantly bright images.
The Maven S Series represents our elite line of optics, designed to fit your specific needs, delivered for a fraction of the cost to comparable spotting scopes and stacks up with the most celebrated and expensive scopes in the world. Whether you choose a stock color unit or configure your own custom-built optic, our modern sportsman-inspired designs are paired with the best available materials and state-of-the-art technology to create an uncompromising optic.
Includes lens caps and double-layered microfiber storage bag.

Maven: Crafted for the Outdoors
Mountain Town Roots
Maven started in a mountain town, driven by folks who'd rather be out hunting or hiking than chasing corporate profits. Their optics are made for people like you: hunters, birdwatchers, anyone who trusts their gear to make every moment in the wild count. It's honest craftsmanship from a team that shares your passion for the outdoors.
Top Quality Craftsmanship
Maven skips the retail middleman and those 15-30% markups that jack up prices in stores. By selling direct, they focus on what matters: top-grade Japanese glass and materials built to handle the toughest conditions, not cheapened to fit a retailer's price tag. You get optics designed to perform, shipped right from their workshop to your door.
Your Australian Connection
As Maven's Australian supplier, The Modern Hunter is right here, living the same outdoor life you do. Call us up, and you'll talk to a real person who knows Maven's gear and Australia's rugged terrain inside out.
