Warranty Returns

Every brand we carry backs its product, and every claim comes through us. You deal with The Modern Hunter in Australia, not an overseas support queue.

Warranty claims may incur some shipping costs.

Maven Optics

Unconditional lifetime warranty. If your optic becomes damaged or is at all defective, contact us for repair or replacement. It does not matter where or when you bought it, or whether it was your fault. If it says Maven, it is taken care of.

The warranty does not cover loss, deliberate damage, or cosmetic damage that does not affect performance.

Tricer

Bombproof Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, for as long as the original buyer owns the product. It applies to Tricer tripods, heads, bipods, binocular adapters and accessories bought new from 1 January 2025. Tricer products bought before that date carry the one-year warranty that applied at the time.

Tricer replaces a defective product. It does not repair. Register your product at tricer.com/register with your receipt to establish ownership, then contact us and we will help with the claim.

Not covered: cosmetic damage, modifications, second-hand purchases, and products that are lost or stolen.

Crispi

Twelve months against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase. Boots bought from The Modern Hunter are covered by the Australian distributor's warranty. Contact us and we handle the claim for you.

Not covered: normal wear and tear, improper use, chemical or mechanical damage, fit or comfort issues, and claims already settled. If a boot is replaced, the original pair stays with the distributor.

Striver

Limited lifetime warranty against defects in manufacture and workmanship, for the life of the product. Send us a description and photos of the problem. If it meets the terms, the item is repaired or replaced at no charge.

Not covered: normal wear and tear, negligent use, and items sold as blemished.

MagView

We no longer stock MagView. If you bought a MagView adapter from us, this still applies.

Guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship. MagView systems are made in the United States. Repairs needed because of improper use, accidents, or normal wear on the finish are not covered.

Returns

We do our best to match you with the right gear, and we know it does not always work out. You can return a product for a refund within 7 days of receiving it, provided it is unused and comes back with all of its original packaging, undamaged.

Riflescopes must be in new and unmounted condition, because a mounted scope carries ring marks.

Every purchase from The Modern Hunter is covered by Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in the warranty or returns terms above limits those rights.
