The CS.1 is built using the same glass as our award-winning C Series Binoculars and is the perfect companion for those who need to see detail at extended distances. Because of it’s lightweight magnesium / aluminum frame, this compact scope gets the job done without taking up much space in your pack. It’s our recommended mid-range spotting scope for hunters, birders, and wildlife viewers who require extra magnification in a minimal unit.

What is your warranty?

All Maven optics come with an unconditional lifetime warranty. If your optic becomes damaged or is at all defective (not including deliberate or cosmetic damage that does not hinder product performance), contact us immediately for repair or replacement. We don’t care where or when you bought it or if it was your fault or not - if it says Maven, we will take care of it.

How can I check out your optics before purchase?

We attend several events per year including expos, fairs, and other outdoor events. As well as some club meetings. This is a great way to see our gear in person. Please get in touch so we can assist you selecting the right optic for your needs

What is included when I buy a spotting scope?

Each spotting scope comes with lens covers for the objective and ocular lenses and a soft storage bag suitable for cleaning the lenses.

Why is a hard case not included?

We know that not everyone uses or wants a hard case. If a hard case was included, the overall cost of the optic to the customer would be higher. As with all of our components we keep the cost as low as possible.

Maven 15-45X65 Spotting Scope

Bought it for backpack hunts in NZ but have found myself using it at the range aswell. Great glass quality for the money and packs well without the bulk of an 80mm objective scope. Would def recommend for backpacking without breaking the budget. Would love it more if it also had a fine focus adjustment. I fell and damaged the eye piece on one trip and Josh at Modern Hunter had me sorted with a replacement posted straight away which was much appreciated. I've also since added a Magview phone adaptor which is awesome and makes longer periods of glassing less fatiguing.
